Are small molds really any value to a statuary business?

You won’t find many manufacturers that carry small pieces. For almost 30 years now I’ve made sure to have many smalls on-hand. For starters, smalls use a minuscule amount of concrete to fill. The end of a batch or even scraping your wheelbarrow is plenty to fill a few smalls.

What good are they? For the cost to pour them, they are a higher markup than large pieces. The most important reason why we like smalls is for giving away. Yes, GIVING AWAY. When you get a customer that spends a good dollar and they have children, give the kids a little dog or cat and their parents will sure to be repeat customers.
